Radhika Apte was born on 7 September 1985 In Pune, India. She is from Marathi community. Her father Dr. Charudutt Apte is a very prominent neurosurgeon and the chairman of Sahyadri Hospital. Radhika graduated from Fergusson College Pune. Her graduating subjects were Economics and Mathematics. For eight years she learned Kathak under great teacher "Rohini Bhate". She went to London after doing four films to learn contemporary dance for a year.

In the movie "Badlapur" we see both Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi in a very hot and bold mood. This movie was a big success and made Radhika a big star. We see Radhika in a topless scene here. In other movie such as Parche she was seen in topless condition and doing sex with a male character.

Her husban's name is Benedict Taylor. He is a British musician. They got married in September 2012. Before getting married they lived together for a long time. Their official marriage ceremony held in March 2013.
She is an Indian film and stage actress. Before venturing into film industry she started her acting career with the theatre group called Aasakta. Her first hindi film was "Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!. It was released in 2005 where she played a brief role.
In the Bengali movie called "Antaheen" what was released in 2009 was her first starring role. Same year she acted in a Marathi tragic romance movie called "Samaantar".
Radhika's biggest commercial successes came through the Marathi thriller "Lai Bhaari (2014)" and Tamil movie "Kabali (2016)".
Through acting Bollywood thriller movie called "Badlapur", comedy movie "Hunterrr" and psychological thriller movie called "Phobia (2016)" she got appreciation from world wide.
